What is Mission Extreme?
Think on-the-edge. Think unflinching commitment. Think high impact, low cost missions. Think adventurous training, challenging opportunities and radical change. It’s extreme and it’s about mission.
Mission Extreme is a one to two year student missions experience that offers both local and foreign missionary opportunities. Why extreme? In a world that is fast approaching its Armageddon drastic measures must be taken. Time is too short for half-hearted actions. People are needed who will take the risks and face the consequences. “Extreme” sports are about adrenaline. This is beyond adrenaline – it’s about commitment – a willingness to count the cost and pay the price.
Why mission?
Mission is about calling – about finding one’s place in a divinely orchestrated plan. Mission is about training – preparing for the greatest rescue mission the world has ever seen. Mission produces missionaries – a group of people who risk their comfort zones to embrace the lost.
Mission Extreme is simple. Missionaries receive training alongside seasoned soul winners for 4 – 6 months. Then those skills are put to use for another 6 months (or more) in a mission outpost either locally or abroad. Student missionaries can choose from either a health or an evangelism emphasis and a variety of dedicated and successful training organizations. This is the kind of experience that changes your life while helping to change the world.
