Cave Springs Home

Musical ProgramCave Springs Home is located in Pegram, Tennessee, approximately 15 miles west of Nashville. It was established in 1956 by Julia Grow, and founded for the purpose of teaching and housing handicapped children. Now it is a home for mentally handicapped adults, but the goals remain the same, preparing residents for life on earth and an eternity in heaven, with an emphasis on allowing the Lord to prepare them for His soon return.

The clients at Cave Springs live in home-style residences on the 900-acre campus, which is a peaceful haven with green lawns, picnic tables, and mild Southern weather. The home maintains a religious atmosphere, with a totally vegetarian diet and a healthy lifestyle. Cleaning, mowing the grass, basic cooking, washing dishes, and doing laundry are some of the simple yet productive skills that help residents to achieve as much independence and self-worth as possible.

Cave Springs groupAlso, outings like concerts, museums, hayrides, and picnics are planned for their enjoyment. One of the greatest needs at Cave Springs is workers who are committed, consistent, focused, and mission-minded.
