Fountainview Academy is a nonprofit supporting ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Its purpose is to train high school students for Christian service.
Set in a canyon, in the sunny, upper Fraser Valley, 300 kilometers north-east of Vancouver, BC, Canada, or 240 miles from Seattle, Washington, Fountainview Academy's location is ideal. Majestic mountains and lots of sunshine give students plenty of time for enjoying God's great book of nature.
Learning the skills of a trade promote common sense and good judgement. These are developed on a large farm where their main cash crop is organic carrots. Students also work in the school orchard, cafeteria garden, food service, office, wood products shop, and maintenance department.
Community Service Activities, Speech Club, and Music Ministries provide students many opportunities to share Christ with the church family and the community.
Fountainview Academy is equipped with a state-of-the-art computer network including the highly acclaimed "Pathfinder 2000" self-paced learning system, making their classrooms fun places to learn! Every teacher is certified and the school is accredited by the Ministry of Education in the Province of British Columbia. Fountainview accepts students from all around the world. For students needing assistance with the English language, an experienced, private tutor is on staff.
Fountainview Academy is a school of opportunity that God has abundantly blessed. The prayer of the staff is that Jesus be upheld as the Source of success and happiness.
