In a beautiful hardwood forest on 1,200 acres, Oak Haven is centrally located in Michigan—within 50 miles of Berrien Springs, Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, and Holland. This gives the ministry opportunities to reach many people through its various activities. Oak Haven offers classes and seminars, which promote physical and spiritual health.
The ministry operates Country Life Natural Foods, a wholesale and retail distributor of natural, organic, and vegetarian foods. Serving buying clubs, individuals, food co-ops, and stores across the entire United States and several international locations, the ministry touches the lives of thousands of people through the right arm of the gospel. Country Life Natural Foods is committed to using its food ministry to enhance the spreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Recently Oak Haven partnered with the Michigan Conference of Seventh-day Adventists to establish an exciting new training program: Emmanuel Institute of Evangelism. Located on Oak Haven’s campus and administrated by the Michigan Conference, the program is designed to equip today’s church members with tools to become more effective soul winners and witnesses for Christ.
The flagship program for Emmanuel Institute is a 14-week session that includes soliciting and giving Bible studies, practice in literature evangelism, how to make public health presentations, improvement in preaching skills, and experience in conducting public evangelistic campaigns. The unique setting of the program gives the students the experience of doing outpost-to-city evangelism. Emanuel Institute fits right in with Oak Haven’s mission: to reach souls with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
