In the center of Russia, close to five large cities, yet far enough in the country to be surrounded by forests, meadows, and lakes, We Are Family was born. Since 2005, the team has been steadily working to build a lifestyle center. Progress is slow, but their desire to serve has only grown in the process. This desire led them, in 2009, to purchase a house for use as a temporary lifestyle center until the building is completed. In the first year, 100 guests came to the small center, and the staff members have seen how God can touch people’s lives, healing both body and soul.
They also operate a medical missionary school, holding monthly courses. Some of the graduates have opted to stay and work with We Are Family, and others have gone to serve in their own communities.
God has blessed the ministry with 250 acres for agriculture. The unprecedented crops are a witness to God’s care for His children, and the visible blessings have opened doors for the team to reach further within the community.
