Student missionary positions provide opportunities to serve for just one year. Often the ideal way for a college student to get his or her feet wet in the mission field, these short-term assignments make a long-term impression. For Megan, it was an eye-opening and trust-building experience:

When I looked at the Mission Extreme destination options, I felt called to Zambia. But first I went to the College of Health Evangelism in Wildwood, GA, for training. I really enjoyed it. What I learned is definitely something I can use throughout my life. And of course the experience in the mission field was unbeatable and unforgettable. I didn’t want to leave Zambia!
While in Zambia, I lived out in the bush where I gave Bible studies and health talks. I was also able to help out with several bush clinics, a crusade, youth meetings, and Sabbath school. God blessed me so much and used me in ways I never would have thought possible! I had a great experience, and I cannot wait to go back some day!
